Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan
Hosted by Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival Inc., this summer festival is a presentation of Shakespeare's works. The festival runs from the first week in July until mid August, and the plays are performed in large tents on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon.
Sasktel Saskatchewan Jazz Fest
Hosted by Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, Inc. (SJF), Sasktel Saskatchewan Jazz Fest is an annual event full of outdoor music, food, and lots of fun. There is a range of Canadian and International jazz musicians who come to perform at this event, usually held in June. There's everything from Big Band, Rhythm and Blues, Dixieland, Reggae, blues, R&B, gospel music, folk music, funk, soul, classic quartet jazz, hip hop and much more!
